The Last Olympian

I must confess, I'm terrified. But I'm also excited for May 5th, 2009.

Because of THIS:

The Last Olympian Written by Rick Riordan. Released on May 5th, 2009. The last book in an AWESOME five book series.

But I'm scared too. Things might not cooperate with me. Here are a few ways that Rick Riordan could completely screw up the book and ruin the series. No pressure.

1. Percy could not beat Kronos- least of my worries
2. Luke could die
3. Rachel could continue to pop up and drive me completely insane- part of my biggest worry
4. Annabeth could continue to ignore Percy- one of my worst nightmares
5. There could be no good monsters- yeah right
6. Rick Riordan won't pick up right where he left off- for all of you who have read(and threatened to destroy) the Demigod Files that sneek peek could be from the middle of a chapter
  7. Nico doesn't play a large roll in the story- admit it, we all love poor Nico
 8. We could NOT see Tyson
9. Percy could join Kronos- most likely that personal loyalty problem(it better be for Annabeth
10. Drum roll. Percy and Annabeth could not fall in love. My biggest fear along with a lot of other people. Really I would throw the book on the ground and throw a tantrum. No matter how late it is.

WARNING: Rick Riordan this is your final warning. If Annabeth and Percy don't get together you will PAY. I will hunt you down and torment you.

P.S. One last worry. Annabeth might die.

P.P.S. Go here to learn some cool things about The Last Olympian. Warning there are spoilers from Rick Riordan- so they are true.

Surprise!

Here's what happens when your aunt turns 30: you along with 14 other people go to Orlando, Florida for a weekend!

On Thursday my dad woke me up at roughly around 5:30. When I made it downstairs the kids got a surprise. Our parents had been planning a trip to Orlando to meet up with pretty much all of the close (meaning actually related) family members on my mom's side plus on of my aunt's friends Liz.
This was the first time that Peter and Laura had flown and the first time I could remember. There were 15 of us total-talk about traffic jam times 10.

Here's the list of people that came on the  trip and their relation to me:
  1. Mom
  2. Dad
  3. Peter-brother
  4. Laura-sister
  5. Uncle Eric-uncle
  6. Aunt Xin- aunt
  7. Kyle-cousin
  8. Aunt Julie-aunt-birthday girl
  9. Uncle Chris-uncle
  10. April-cousin
  11. Liz-friend
  12. Grandpa John-grandpa
  13. Nana-grandmother
  14. Omi-grandmother
  15. Me
Sadly only 14 of us ended up really going "around" on the trip. Nana was stranded in the nicest hospital in the world with some stomach bug thing. Sorry Nana.

DAY ONE:
We flew into Houston where we met up with everyone- we were able to surprise Aunt Julie.  Major feat on our behalf. Then all FIFTEEN of us flew to Orlando.  There we checked into out wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, and swimming pool equipted resort room. Courtesy of Uncle Chris.

DAY TWO:
Kennedy Space Center. We went on a close-up tour (us being Liz, Dad, Peter, Uncle Chris and I). Everyone in our group of five rode on the launch simulator- lots of fun. Ate and had a great time.

DAY THREE:
We went to Disney World (a.k.a the happiest place on Earth)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a great time. The lines weren't too long and we learned that it is possible to lead 14 people through Disney World. Amazing. We were at the park all day long and we each had an amazing time. One of the suvinears that our family got was a group of little balls in the shapes of the Winnie the Pooh characters. Peter and Laura were begging for one so mom broke down and got them. My Eeor's tail comes off.

I'll tell you more about the trip soon in Surprise Part II.  While your waiting check out my mom's blog  to hear more about the trip.

Actually that's a lie. I don have something to say remember this post. Well this week was worse. I won't scare you with the number, all I'll say was that it was a LONG  week.

So What Happens When...

Today I(and my parents) made the biggest mistake of my life. I bought a certain book. A book that was proceeded AND succeeded by fits of trauma. This book is one I have been waiting for, for, well forever.

So I guess I better start at the beginning. Well I started by bribing and begging for the book. Then I waited until today to get it. My parents went through many pains to get it while I was at school. Then I read it. I have a hard time feeling let down about books. This one did it. So after how upset I was us of course I had to go and complain to my dad in my dramatic way. The conversation went on for a while first about the book then about whether Annabeth, one of the main characters, deserved some of the treatment she was getting. My parents were truly regretting getting my book.

Moral: Don't get this book. Post a comment and if you are anywhere near where I live I'll try to get it to you. But you better be nice to it. I still love these books though.

Next I have to get this:
Sorry I'll have to give you the picture later the computer isn't working. Sorry.
