Okay, Your Turn

I seem to have this problem every summer. Even though I have 40,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
books in my bed, I need to find something else to read. So since I have given you book ideas, I am going to tell you to suggest books for ME.
How's that for a change? Huh?

Come on I need book suggestions.

Summer Has Begun... I'm Sort of Sad

Okay, okay. I know this blog post is late, but you can't blame me completely. I was semi-miserable and I did not have the strength to blog. Woe is me.

I know I promised that I would talk about the plays, but I hove something much more important to talk about:

YOUR SUMMER READING LIST (FROM YOUR'S TRULY)

Actually, I have to admit that this is actually more for Mitchell than for anyone else (we have challenged each other to find books for the other and this is a mish-mash of news and books).

-Maximum Ride: James Patterson (Mitchell go here and tell me what you think. I'm excited and scared already!)  (I think this series is great, but it is more meant for kids, parents might like it, but it is more for kids.)  (This goes for all the James Patterson books I blog about.)

-Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Rick Riordan    (I'm going to stop talking about this.)

-Skeleton Creek: Patrick Carman  (A bit creepy, if your Peter and can be scared easily.)

- The Companions Quartet: Julia Golding
-Leven Thumps: Obert Skye

- The Myth-O-Mania series: Kate McMullan   (Quite funny- if you like greek mythology.)

- The Dangerous Days of Daniel X: James Patterson   (Look back at the note on Maximum Ride.)  (Warning: Has aliens.)

Mitchell enjoy!  I still can't believe it. Max! Fang! Iggy! Nudge!  Gazzy! (Hold your breath quick, it's Gazzy!) Angel!  Total!   What he's funny.

Now I have to wait. It is going to be a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long,... well you get the idea.

Check back if you want to hear my complaints and grumbles or just wait until March 20th, 2010.

Logging off.

Plays, Productions, You Name It (And A Birthday)

Seeing as this was the penultimate week of school everyone did their plays. I am going to be somewhat brief because I am going to leave most of the production news for my mom. You can probably go to her blog some time this week and she will have something up. If she doesn't by Sunday I will spill everything. Peter and Laura did the play Snow White. Laura was a bunny named Buck and Peter was Loper the Deer. I think they had a great time. So that they could forego the kissing at the end of the play, the kids re-wrote the ending, making the prince a football player and the kiss a magic football. I think the kids had a great time singing All Star.

For my class's play we did a play about space written by our student teacher. We also had to write a three minute monologue about an explorer. I chose Sally Ride and had a great time.

This year I got to see one friend's play that I found absolutely funny. The kids did a great job and I enjoyed myself.

Now I must talk about a different subject. A certain blog post expressed my worries about a certain book called The Last Olympian. I will now report about my worries. I will type the number and answer the question (if I can).

1. I can not answer this question.
2. I can not answer this question.

3. No I did not go crazy.

4.  This does not happen.

5. I was not too worried, but I think the monsters weren't as good.

6. No, he does not pick up where her left off.

7.  The role is not too large, but he does play a part.

8. We see Tyson.

9.  I can not answer this question.

10.  I can not answer the question.

The P.S. at the end of the post: I can not answer this question.

Last subject: Laura turned SIX yesterday. Happy Birthday, Laura!!!!!!!!!!!

It Is HERE!!!!!!

More correctly: it was (and still is) here. Now if you have been paying attention or have children that have been bugging you, you already know what it is. For all of you who do not know I will tell you.

Feast your eyes on this:

This book came out on May 5th. I enjoyed the book and as I write this I am not exactly because Peter has it. It is a long story and I'll leave it at: Peter will NOT be borrowing another one of my books. If he wants it he will either have to buy it or get it from the library.

Recognize Me?

For the past couple years I have wanted to donate my hair for a wig for a cancer patient. This year my hair was finally long enough to donate. So on Friday we went to get my hair cut!

The first thing I noticed about my hair after it was cut was how light it seemed after 24 inches had been cut off.

My mom was very surprised by how fast my hair dried and curled.

We blow-dried my hair and we all agreed that and afro was not a good idea.

Before the cut we decided to do before and after shots:

Before:

After:
The person who cut my hair straightened it for me and I love it!

A Week In A Blog Post

I know I have neglected and ignored you. Seeing as I am aware of this fact I , guess what, decided to blog.

I am going to tell you about our week in BULLET POINTS, just to make it more fun.

  • * Our school tends to do a lot of performances at the end of the
school year. This year our class is doing a space play.
  • * Currently, our school is in portables. On Thursday
12 stressed teachers took 200 something half-crazy kids to
a 3/4 finished school, where many machines were present that
we could destroy. Everyone had a great time and the school
looks awesome. Can't wait to go next year.
  • * I passed out of fractions!
    Yeah! On to decimals.
  • * I passed out of CCFWT (Crash Course For Writing Technique)!
  • * Our class started to learn how to orienteer.
  • * I got to spend some time with my best friends. Critical Reframers.
If you don't know what these are go and find someone at
Family School to tell you, because I'm not going to.
(This whole bullet point should be read with very heavy sarcasim.
  • * I spent SEVEN HOURS on homework on Saturday.
  • * We went to the zoo with some friends on Friday.
Peter and Laura have some friends in their class that we went
to the zoo with them (I also happen to have one of their
siblings in my class). We also took our piano teacher's son
with us. So, in total, there were nine kids and three parents.
I have to admit it. It was very successful with very little fighting.
  • * We had the missionaries over for dinner.
We have three great missionaries. There were plenty of
laughs, and one of our missionaries played piano for us.
Here are some pictures of the trip to the zoo:

Here we are all playing and running around on a hill. In the background you can see a little girl holding my hand. Her name is Mia and she is the sweetest thing ever.

I have a couple other things to say. One, for a couple of years I have wanted to donate my hair for a wig for a cancer victim, my mom and I have looked for a place where I can cut my hair. And I can't wait because my hair is finally ready. Soon I will have very short hair.

The second thing I want to tell you was a song. In our play someone sings this:
(Sung to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb)

I found the meteorite, the meteorite, the meteorite
And all of you did not
It must be because I'm so bright, I'm so bright, I'm so bright
And all of you are not

Our class loves this song, mainly because the person you sings it is so funny. We have pretty much already memorized it. We were singing it on the way to the new school.

One other thing I just remembered something else that I did this week. I blogged!
