Surprise! Pictures Part


Now this is the picture version of our first three days at Florida. NOTE: You better enjoy every second of this because I did it TWICE.  Since I did this twice and since it's long and since one person didn't get to enjoy the majority of this trip I thought that this blog post should be for that person. Hope you enjoy the post and can experience the vacation through what everyone tells and writes about it.  Love you!

We lost two hours in Florida and were really tired. Here's proof.

To get to Disney World early we had to wake up at seven after going to bed at like TEN. So yeah welcome to our life.
 
The exactly a mile off you can see it. And I kept on saying that it was a mile off...

I wrote in BIG handwriting (for all you classmates and teachers that might be reading this and know about my tiny writing.) proclaiming the birthday girl's birthday.

To calm my brother's fears of the Haunted Mansion  we began to discuss It's a Small World. Peter asked what that was, my father responded " It's a ride scarier than the Haunted Mansion where all these demented people sing about how happy the world is." For all those lovers of It's a Small World no offense, he was just trying to make Peter feel better.

We went on the Jungle Cruise where you are led along on a boat though Africa. 

Our guide was wonderful. She was funny and made tons of interaction. She offered to let Kyle and Laura drive the boat through a cave while she kept her eyes closed.

I feared for our lives when Laura got a hold of the wheel.

How many of you are familar with my Pinochio story. Well I had to play the Blue Fairy last year and let's just say  it's still a sore spot. A the beginning of the day I said I would run away from anything that had to do with that puppet. My hunger over came me. We ate at the Pinocchio resturant that night.

We missed the 10:30 bus home so we had to wait for the 11:00 one. Peter was like this when it got there.

Funny story I learned later on: We sent flowers to my grandmother in the hospital. While we were in Disney World he told the sale guy or whoever to give them to Nancy Macmickey. Instead of Machnicki. See we're Disney fanatics. 

FYI: The Pirates of the Caribeian ride is not as good as it sounds.

The Last Olympian


I must confess, I'm terrified. But I'm also excited for May 5th, 2009.

Because of THIS:    

The Last Olympian Written by Rick Riordan. Released on May 5th, 2009. The last book in an AWESOME five book series.

But I'm scared too. Things might not cooperate with me. Here are a few ways that Rick Riordan could completely screw up the book and ruin the series. No pressure.

1. Percy could not beat Kronos- least of my worries
2. Luke could die
3. Rachel could continue to pop up and drive me completely insane- part of my biggest worry
4. Annabeth could continue to ignore Percy- one of my worst nightmares
5. There could be no good monsters- yeah right
6. Rick Riordan won't pick up right where he left off- for all of you who have read(and threatened to destroy) the Demigod Files that sneek peek could be from the middle of a chapter
  7. Nico doesn't play a large roll in the story- admit it, we all love poor Nico 
 8. We could NOT see Tyson
9. Percy could join Kronos- most likely that personal loyalty problem(it better be for Annabeth
10. Drum roll. Percy and Annabeth could not fall in love. My biggest fear along with a lot of other people. Really I would throw the book on the ground and throw a tantrum. No matter how late it is.

WARNING: Rick Riordan this is your final warning. If Annabeth and Percy don't get together you will PAY. I will hunt you down and torment you.    

P.S. One last worry. Annabeth might die.

Surprise!

Here's what happens when your aunt turns 30: you along with 14 other people go to Orlando, Florida for a weekend!

On Thursday my dad woke me up at roughly around 5:30. When I made it downstairs the kids got a surprise. Our parents had been planning a trip to Orlando to meet up with pretty much all of the close (meaning actually related) family members on my mom's side plus on of my aunt's friends Liz. 
This was the first time that Peter and Laura had flown and the first time I could remember. There were 15 of us total-talk about traffic jam times 10. 

Here's the list of people that came on the  trip and their relation to me:

Sadly only 14 of us ended up really going "around" on the trip. Nana was stranded in the nicest hospital in the world with some stomach bug thing. Sorry Nana.

DAY ONE:
We flew into Houston where we met up with everyone- we were able to surprise Aunt Julie.  Major feat on our behalf. Then all FIFTEEN of us flew to Orlando.  There we checked into out wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, and swimming pool equipted resort room. Courtesy of Uncle Chris. 

DAY TWO:
Kennedy Space Center. We went on a close-up tour (us being Liz, Dad, Peter, Uncle Chris and I). Everyone in our group of five rode on the launch simulator- lots of fun. Ate and had a great time.

DAY THREE:
We went to Disney World (a.k.a the happiest place on Earth)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a great time. The lines weren't too long and we learned that it is possible to lead 14 people through Disney World. Amazing. We were at the park all day long and we each had an amazing time. One of the suvinears that our family got was a group of little balls in the shapes of the Winnie the Pooh characters. Peter and Laura were begging for one so mom broke down and got them. My Eeor's tail comes off.

So What Happens When...


Today I(and my parents) made the biggest mistake of my life. I bought a certain book. A book that was proceeded AND succeeded by fits of trauma. This book is one I have been waiting for, for, well forever. 



So I guess I better start at the beginning. Well I started by bribing and begging for the book. Then I waited until today to get it. My parents went through many pains to get it while I was at school. Then I read it. I have a hard time feeling let down about books. This one did it. So after how upset I was us of course I had to go and complain to my dad in my dramatic way. The conversation went on for a while first about the book then about whether Annabeth, one of the main characters, deserved some of the treatment she was getting. My parents were truly regretting getting my book.

Moral: Don't get this book. Post a comment and if you are anywhere near where I live I'll try to get it to you. But you better be nice to it. I still love these books though.
